Mission

For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink, I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me... Truly, I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me. Matthew 25:35-40
Our Preferences

  • The Foundation gives priority to organizations serving basic human needs primarily in the geographical area of Dallas.
  • The Board of Trustees defines these needs as food, shelter, clothing, health and education aimed at transforming lives of those living in poverty or in prison.
  • Christian organizations that minister to the needy are of particular interest to the Foundation.
  • The Foundation gives emphasis to children's programs.
  • Generally, the Foundation DOES NOT give grants in the area of arts and culture.
  • The Foundation prefers to support organizations and projects directly rather than supporting fundraising events.
  • The Foundation cannot make grants to individuals.

General Information

  • Normally grants will be made for one year only.
  • Except in instances of our own initiation, the Foundation accepts only one request per year from any organization. Therefore, large organizations should send proposals through the organization's central office.
  • The usual grant for the Foundation is between $1,000 to $3,000.
