Mission Statement
For I was hungry, and you gave Me something
to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink, I was a
stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed
Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and
you came to Me…
Truly, I say to you, to the extent that you
did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of
them, you did it to Me.

Plans 2011 - 2015
Dear Friends,
For the past fifteen years, the Marilyn Augur Family
Foundation has had the privilege of furthering God’s
kingdom by supporting non-profit organizations who are
effectively meeting the needs of "the least of these." We
operate using Matthew 25:35-40 as our mission statement.
Thank you for the incredible work you are doing in our
community!
Our Founder, Mrs. Marilyn Augur, together with the
Foundation’s Trustees and staff, are wholeheartedly
committed to continuing this support even as our financial
resources have diminished. The reality is that we will
have very few discretionary grant dollars available for
the next few years. We pray that this is a temporary
condition. In the mean time, the Foundation will continue
to provide non-grant assistance in the following ways:
1) Monthly Prayer Ministry: On the first Monday of the
month, the Foundation staff prays for the agencies that
we have supported over the years, including
organizations that are not faith-based. Please continue
to give us your prayer requests. The monthly prayer time
has been a wonderful blessing!
2) Investment and Budget Analysis: We are scrutinizing
all budget and investment decisions. As in years past,
our goal is to make sure that we are the best possible
stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us.
3) Legislative Committee: Recently I was invited to
serve on the Conference of Southwest Foundations’
Legislative Network Committee. We will meet with state
and national legislators to discuss issues affecting
philanthropy. While the benefit of this work may be
indirect, we feel it is a worthy investment of time.
4) Connecting Relationships and Resources: Non-profit
organizations can have an incredible impact on a
community when they work together. We will continue to
facilitate relationships and partnerships among the
non-profits we serve.
We pray that you will have continued success in your
commitment to helping those in need. Please feel free to
contact us with prayer requests or suggestions.
Kindest regards,
Tracey Frattaroli
