Mission Statement
For I was hungry, and you gave Me something
to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink, I was a
stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed
Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and
you came to Me…
Truly, I say to you, to the extent that you
did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of
them, you did it to Me.
Matthew 25:35-40 |

|
The Marilyn Augur Family Foundation, a
private 501(c)(3) organization, was
founded by Marilyn Augur to fulfill Jesus’ commandment in
Matthew 25 to care for “the least of these”.
“The
Foundation seeks to provide funding to organizations that
help those less fortunate gain an opportunity to break out
of the cycles that limit them.”
- Marilyn Augur, Founder
Guidelines
The Foundation gives priority to organizations serving
basic human needs primarily in the geographical area of
Dallas.
The Board of Trustees defines these needs as food,
shelter, clothing, health and education aimed at
transforming lives of those living in poverty or in
prison.
Christian organizations are of particular interest to the
Foundation.
The Foundation gives emphasis to children's programs.
Generally, the Foundation DOES NOT give grants in the area
of arts and culture.
The Foundation prefers to support organizations and
projects directly rather than supporting fundraising
events.
